01 — The problem

The Challenge

Field crews logged work orders, readings, and timesheets on paper. Lab results came back as scanned PDFs that someone had to manually check against each site's specific licence conditions, across multiple jurisdictions with different rules. Assets and stock were tracked in spreadsheets with no serial-level traceability, and there was no way to see cost or margin at the job level until well after the work was billed.

02 — The build

What We Built

A national water treatment operator ran on paper folders, emailed lab PDFs and spreadsheets. Pinnasys built one platform on a single data spine: field capture of work orders, readings and timesheets, a web console for assets, stock and service records, and a Lab AI Agent that reads laboratory PDFs and checks each result against that site's licence conditions. Four modules went live in four months, with workshop, procurement and costing to follow.
